All About Doug

Creative Director/Director

Doug started his career as a copywriter with McCann-Erickson in Atlanta, and moved to Toronto and New York with Young & Rubicam International. Over the years, he has created an abundance of award-winning advertising campaigns for Outback Steakhouse, Publix Supermarkets,  Coca-Cola, Chick-Fil-A, Hershey's, Labatt's Beer, Johnson & Johnson, Independent Life, Gate Petroleum,  Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, Circle K Florida, and Bono’s Bar-B-Q, among others. Doug has also contributed many articles on advertising for Advertising Age, the bible of the industry.

He has won numerous national awards including Clios and the top prize for the International Broadcasting Awards for "World's Best Commercial." He is one of the few Creative Directors in the Southeast to have won three Cannes lions; one Gold and Two Silver.

Doug attended the University of Florida, where he graduated with a degree in Journalism with honors.

                                             Nanette Hardee


Nanette was named to the prestigious Southeast Creative All-Star Team by ADWEEK, one of the advertising industry's most respected trade publications, for her innovative conceptual and copywriting efforts.

In her 20-plus years of writing, Nanette has produced results-oriented, brand building and retail work for a diverse number of clients, including McDonald's Restaurants, Cunard Cruise Lines, The Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Pinellas County Division of Tourism, The Florida Lottery, Publix Super Markets, St. Joseph's Women's Hospital, The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Bern’s Steak House, SideBerns, Lee Roy Selmon's, Bono’s Bar-B-Q and Outback Steakhouse.

The author of the now famous "No Rules, Just Right" tagline, Nanette continues to work with a number of restaurant entities, as well as varied projects ranging from real estate developers to hospitals, universities, engineering firms, boat clubs and nightclubs.

Nanette holds a B.A. degree in English from the University of California at Santa Barbara. as well as oodles of awards from local to national levels.

Chief Mojo has been both a Creative and Art Director for the past fifteen years for various advertising agencies throughout the United States, including J. Walter Thompson’s Denver field office.

He has won numerous Gold and Silver Addy Awards, produced and directed over 100 television spots as well as written, directed and edited several short and feature-length films including the multi award-winning feature film “Blues for the Avatar”, and the PBS-aired documentary “Goodnight Johnny”.

In addition to his film career, he is the owner of a video production company, The Mojo Ranch, Inc. a strategic partner with the Hardee Group. He is the only person in the world to have snowboarded the entire vertical length of Arapahoe Basin from top to bottom (10,780’), blindfolded at a high rate of speed without falling.


Jane Shirek


Jane traveled the world taking pictures and exhibiting her photographs, then landed in Milan, Italy where she heard the siren’s call of Fashion. Since then she has photographed musicians, painters, designers, chefs, CEOs and other big fish.

Her clients have included Vogue Italia, L’Umo Vogue, American Vogue, Vanity Fair, Entertainment Weekly, Seventeen, Glamour, TV Guide, Money Magazine, Nine West, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Universal Music Group, Atlantic Records…Beef O’ Brady’s and  Bono’s BBQ to name a few.

She has directed music videos for Mercury Records, Universal Music Group, TV commercials for Macy’s and numerous short films.

She has a B.A. degree in fine art from the University of Florida with a major in painting and minor in photography.
